Puerto Princesa, Palawan

July 16-18, 2013

Bags are all packed and my soul is all set to fly high to Puerto Princesa, Palawan!!!
Thank God my leave requests were approved for 3 days.
Got tons of stuff to bring, aside from the usual stuff:
  • shirts,
  • shorts,
  • underwear,
  • hanky,
  • phone,
  • camera,
  • toiletries,

Have to add:
  • insect repelant (OFF lotion)
  • sunblock (even if it was we're getting rain showers, better prepared)
  • a good book (to read while waiting for your flight or while in the plane
  • sealed snacks and water (airplane food is quite pricey)
  • extra digital camera (back up, good thing I decided to bring extra digital camera coz my main camera just died on me....good thing it's working now. My main camera was in comatose mode for about 5 days)
  • chargers
  • medicine (for LBM, mefenamic, multivitamins, and the like)
  • extra battery
  • beach accessories .... as your summer bling
  • goggles and snorkel if you have a set at home: so that you won't have to rent in the beach if you plan to do snorkeling
  • plastic bags for your wet and used clothes bringing back home from the trip
  • tripod
  • extra cash since ATM's might be far from your home
  • if you have underwater camera....bring it! (still saving up for an underwater camera)
We arrived in Puerto Princesa Airport on time at around 11:30 in the morning. Good thing our friends/officemates/travel buddies were able to set-up the whole itinerary for the gang. Thanks Christy, Nellie, Happy and those who set-up this remarkable event. Big thanks guys!!!

Baker's Hill

This bear cat is so cuddly....soft paws ...it's so cute i wanna die! =) lol

on our way to Underground River. I never knew that you have to get another boat ride to see the Underground River, I've always thought that it was just a few hours ride from the city. Tourists planning to go to the Underground River should secure a reservation, because they only accept a limited number of visitors, you would need to coordinate with your tour guide/travel agency before you travel to Puerto Princesa for reservations for trips to the Underground River.

The "buwis - buhay" snorkelling moments, first time snorkelling....I wanna do this again!
