Last Slice

I just got the last slice of red ribbon's chocolate mouse....este chocolate mousse....
I placed it on my plate.
Got the big cake box out the house and into the trash.
Got back to my plate.
Stared blankly at the creamy white mouse.....este mousse.
Picked up the fork.
Took a little slice.
Teasing myself with this delectable delight.
This cake seems to be staring back at me.
Daring me to gobble the small chunk of cake.
But no....no.....no....
I'll eat this slowly.
So I picked up the chocolate piece.
Got the first bite from the last slice.
Felt the mouse in my mouth.....este mousse in my mouth.
Melting and blending the flavors of semi sweet moose....este mousse, chocolate cake and that chocolate foamy thing in the middle.
Crumbs fall off the table but I don't care bout the mess.
All I think about is this chocolate mixture in front of me.
Took another slice.
And another and another....and another....
Til it was all gone......all gone......
Sad but had inner peace after consuming all that glorious scrumptious cake.
I went outside and sat on a bench.
Stared at the box from where the happiness came from.
Picked it up.
Looked at a tiny yellow orange sticker 9/20/2011
Stopped and felt cold......
Teka....expired na ata!!!!!!Crap!
Went back in the kitchen.
Looked at the date from my phone and felt relief.....9/18/2011 pa lang =)
Wheeeew!!!!
If only Chocolate Heaven was still available,
Things would have been a lot different.
Baka isang araw pa lang ubos na ung cake......di na umabot ng tatlong araw sa ref.
